Through our association with the University of Qld, Masters of Sports Physiotherapy students at various times undergo their clinical training through our practice. The Masters of Sports Physio course at UQ is highly regarded with physios from around the world and Australia travelling to Brisbane to complete the program. These candidates are fully qualified physios who are undertaking a higher level Masters degree in Sports Physiotherapy and treat patients under the supervision of Kerrith Matyear who is an associate lecturer/clinical educator and examiner for the University of Qld. Treatments with master’s candidates are charged at a lower rate to accommodate for the extra time allowed for the learning/discussion component of the session.
